PS3 loses Another exclusive, Unreal Tournament 3 coming to 360!!!

i use to have a 360 and it doesnt even campare to a ps3

xbox360 = $200 optional hd-dvd player that only plays movies
xbox360 = maxed out, ps3 = potential for the next 5 years
xbox360 = 1 TeraFlop, ps3 = 2 TeraFlops
xbox360 = 3 USB ports, ps3 = 6 USB ports
xbox360 = up to 4 controllers, ps3 = up to 7 controllers
xbox360 = lame WIFI, ps3 = cool WiFi
xbox360 = is not cheaper if you buy all the optional hardware, in fact it cost more and it still can't see the ps3.
xbox360 = a faster ps2 with better graphics
ps3 = The next generation

the only thing I can say about the first thing is LOL. Ripped ps3 games can easily fit on a DVD9 (I.E. 6 Gigs). Blu-Ray = Hype and nothing more
xbox360=not maxed out. it just came out. games will look better than gears of war in a year or so, same with ps3
xbox360=how is wifi lame or cool? it serves its purpose.

exactly,dudes are gonna be mad dissapointed once they see in a few years that theres not that much of a differece between the 2.  Im not even hating on the ps3, i plan on getting one later on once theres some solid exclusives out ,mayb in a year or sumthin, its a dope system,but so is the 360, thats what fanboys needa realize,there both tight systems ,but to say tbe ps3 is better then the 360 right now is just plain wrong, gotta wait a few years before u can make a statement like that and be takin seriously

This wasn't ever exclusive to PS3 anyway, they just didn't announce a 360 release date back when they first announced the game as UT2007. I think it was pretty obvious this was always going to come to the 360, if only because of Live.

In interviews/articles from before it was labled as a ps3 exclusive, i remember reading in PSM an article they had and i was pretty hyped for the game. Originally epic games was gonna make Gears of war for 360 and UT07 for ps3 , now they changed the name to Unreal Tournament 3 and are releasing it for ps3 as well as 360,so in the end the 360 gets gears of war and UC3

Considering the previous Unreal games were on X Box as well it was clear this was always going to make its way to the 360 though in some form or another, even if it wasn't when the other versions were released. I don't think Sony are going to be particulary bothered about this one anyway, I doubt there was anyone who was going to buy a PS3 specifically for this game when firstly they could get it on PC (if they have a capable machine) and secondly if they just had a 360, there are already by far enough first person shooters to keep them interested without needing UT3 as well.

Sony have (at the moment) been able to keep the exclusives that are most important worldwide as well as in their own market of Japan, such as MGS4, DMC4 and VF5 (exclusive to PS3 in Japan, although as we know 360 getting it in US/Europe at a later date). To me this is most important, because if the system sells well in Japan then all the best developers (mainly based in Japan) are going to see it as a console worth developing for and we will therefore get a lot more great games for it. Financially the US may be the most important market, but for the quality of games released for the system its definitely Japan that is the most vital. Considering the PS3 has already sold more than the 360 over there despite only being out for a few months it's quite clear which machine is going to get the support from developers over there.

we can't see how you like lurching over a computer screen when you can sit comfortably on a coach on a HDTV

and computers did HDTV when u were in nappies

Yap, feeling the same way. I´m actually feeling way more comfortable sitting on my leather chair at my pc with my feet up on the desk than sitting on the couch. That´s jst because I play way more on pc than console games I guess. Plus you just can´t beat the controls on pc and the ability to tweak games as you like them to be.

i always wondered why they didn't made a control more adapted for consoles. I mean, i was a big fps fan back then, i've been playing fps games since the fist half life game out, then it was soldier of fortune unreal tournament then quake 3 and all that good shit. But i wasn't rich enough to buy those 500$ graphic cards and i stopped playing after the first splinter cell.

It can be good, but that is all up to how good the developers are. For example, Red Steel could have been a great game, but its horrible.

It was hella rushed.  Wait until Metroid comes out, that will be quality.  Red Steel was a sprint trying to get it ready by launch, so they just accomplished what they could and had to leave design flaws in it.

I know, thats what I was saying, just depends on how much the developers polish the game before they release it.
