and the winner to the trivia question is................................................................
sugafoot? but which track? the answer in a second. first though, i think you guys are imagining the sound of a trumpet on a lot of the tracks you guessed. if i could just use my keyboard here to play you what a trumpet sounds like ;)
since you can't here it i wont. anyways like i mentioned before dre has always played the keyboards well. right before leaving death row he bought a trumpet so he could learn. If any of you have ever learned how to play any instrument you know there are 3 things you need. time, patience and practice. dre has only i of the 3 - patience. the other 2 he does not. therefore he is not very good on the trumpet. but he is good enough to throw a couple toots on a few tracks. dre loves to layer every song with a lot of instruments and "bits" of sounds. a lot of the nuggets dre puts on a track are never noticed. other times they take dozens of listens to hear them.
the answer is: The Watcher. i wont tell you where on the track but it is there. dre also plays a slightly off tune trumpet solo on a track on The Wash soundtrack.
by the way, on What's the Difference you here a sax, a trumpet, a trombone and a tuba. a tuba is also prominent on xzibits The best of things. So there you go. later.

I listened to "Doggy Dogg World" and when the hook comes in it sorta sounds like a trumpet, but it's just a synth keyboard.

I think that's what's real cool bout Dre beats, once in a while, after not listening to one particular song; I pick up on knew sounds and noises that I haven't heard before.  It's kinda like lookin at the song in a different way.

Again, You Dind't Read What I Said.  If You'd Read The FIRST Reply I Gave, I Said In That One That I Thought The Trumpet Was On Doggy Dogg World.  I Was Talking (And Said In The First Reply) That I Think A Trumpet On The Clean Version Bleeps out Snoop's "Rolled You A Joint", But It Mighta Been A Trombone.

Anyways, That Was Just My Guess, I Was Wrong, LOL.

You Think You Got The Bomb, Cuz I (enter trumpet/trombone/tuba?) BWAH BWAH BWAH BWAH BWAH!

That was just my Guess.  How Come Yall Never Read?
