Rated X Vixen’s Now Female Squad Of Bumsquad DJ’s

From Los Angeles, New York and all cities in between, the Rated X Vixen’s represent a collective of progressive women doing it for themselves in all areas of entertainment. Founded in 2005 by XM Radio’s DJ Nina 9, the network of females is a sisterhood of Managers, Artists, DJ’s, Writer’s, On-Air Personalities, Publicists, Promoters and more who have come together to represent the best of the best in whatever field of business they may thrive.

“The best part of the being a Vixen,” explains Nina, “Is that it’s a genuine network of help and support for one another. We all have made some type of name for ourselves so we understand the struggle and are more than willing to give a fellow sister a hand up.” Now with the support of their brother organization the Bumsquad DJ’s the ladies are taking their network to the next level. The Vixens are hand selected based on accomplishments and influence in the business. Some notable Vixens include the S.E.A”s 2006 #1 Female Air Personality, Cristal Bubblin, Radio One on-air personality April Watts, Infamous G-Unit’s Gail Gotti, Fashion Designer/Rapper Big Chan (formerly Doggy’s Angels) as well as Tour Manager/Mixshow coordinator and official Bum Squad Board member Cee Luv to name a few.

“I created the Bumsquad DJ’s to create a family environment where we can grow and build together,” says Universal/Motown VP Latin Prince, “Now that we have a squad of sister’s whose grind is as major as the Bumsquad’s the family is complete.” The squad’s are preparing for their second annual Bumsquad family reunion to be held in Los Angeles this summer. Last year’s event played host to over 150 DJ’s who convened to network in a family based atmosphere to build on their network of artists and projects, with more of the same planned for 2007.
