Dogg Pound - Big Pimpin OG, Big Pimpin Pt II (????)

Is there any difference between the versions of Big Pimpin that are labeled as being different? I never bought the original Dogg Food or Above The Rim Sdtk, but I figured they were the same. My homeboy was playin his Dogg Food last night, which could have been a burnt copy, but I could swear that Big Pimpin started off different on his CD...maybe I was a bit drunk or somethin, but I remember it starting off different.

well i know there are two versions of big pimpin. i dont have the widely released version of big pimpin, but i think that the big pimpin og that I have, has daz starting out with a different verse. I really don't remember though.

I believe the "OG" version that you guys are talking about, is just the radio edit. When the "Above The Rim" soundtrack first came out back in the day, my brother bought it for me for my birthday. Turned out it was the edited version that he bought at Wal-Mart. I bumped the hell out of it but then like 6 months later went and bought the real one with the explicit lyrics and the song was halfway different because of the lyrics.

I just think when the edited version floats around the internet, it's labeled as the "OG Version" because not too many people had the radio version of the soundtrack back in the day (for obvious reasons lol).

I'm at work right now so I don't have it on my hard drive, but it is not something that's hard to find at all.

I've seen it posted several times here on the forum so I'm guessing someone else will have it to post up. If  not, I would be more than happy to put it up when I get home later tonight.

yeah there is a clean radio version which was not on the ATR ost.  Big pimpin song was never on dogg food.  The clean version has a lil less of snoop rapping because he cussed a lot in the dirty version.  The rap verses are different because there is no cussing.

the one on "Dogg Food" has the same drum pattern and all that but with some different bass

and no rapping, just Big Pimpin talking

I actually like the Part 2 beat better.... the bass is real clean



I like the one on "Above the Rim" too but after Nate's part I always change it, Snoop kinda boring on that
