Can't have a combo, that ain't Burger King... Just kiddin son, I feel you, but Snoop IS more of a rapper than an MC whereas Pac could be classified (actually is) among great MCs... Only mu point of view...

na RivieraIII tupac ain't an mc if you mean cause jis lyrics had meaning(which they did) that don't make him an mc and mc is someone with more ryming, and freestyle type lyrics that wasn't pac but one reason a say snoop is an mc is cause a saw kurupt on mtv about 2 years ago and he talked about the diff between an mc and a rapper i can't remember his discription but he said him and snoop were mcs!

yeah jake snoop kinda has changed his flow but at times he shows flashs of being an mc that's why i originally said he's a combo

I Think The Lady Of Rage, LOL Could Have POSSIBLY Been The Goat If She Would Have Stayed In It.  She Had Somethin' I Ain't Never Heard From No Other Rapper, Just Tight Tight Rhymes, Hard Hittin' Stuff.  I Mean, She Only Shined On Like 6 Big Tracks Or So, But Man, She Was Tight.

I Think That Might Have Been The D.O.C., Though, Because Back Then, Snoop, AND Kurupt, AND Daz, And Rage All Sounded Sort Of Similar, So I Think The D.O.C. Might Have Helped With All That, Making Him The GOAT.  Think About It, IfThat Fool Wrote All The Deathrow Stuff? He's The Man.

Yall Are Sleepin On Some Ill MC's, Like Common, And Plug One From De La Soul.  I Think Both Of These Guys Are Some Of The Dopest Out.

I Think When HISTORY Is Over, And Rap's A Fad Like Flapper Music From The 20's, It'll Go Down like This (Don't Kill Me)

Best Rapper:
Snoop Dogg

Best Emcee:
Eminem

Why? Because Snoop Has A HUGE career, Still Ahead Of Him, He's Just gonna Get Better And Better I Think, And Churn Out Hits, And Do the Rap Thing.  In The End, He'll Have About 30 Full Length CD's, And Do Work With Every Famous Musician Alive, LOL.  He'll Be A 80 Year Old Grey Headed Man Doin' Awards Shows.

Eminem, Is Gonna Change Rap.  He's Gonna Start Rapping About Important Sh*t, Eventually, And It's Gonna Be Big, And In Everybody's Face, And Very Mainstream... Like Black Thought On Steroids, Or Somethin.  And Em SOMEWHERE In Him, Has Skill That No Other Mainstream MC Has Ever Had.  He CAn Flow, And If Those Freestyles Are Legit, Once He Gets Back In Touch With That (Like Snoop Is JUST NOW STarting To Do Again), He's Gonna Be Unstoppable.

The Problem With Tupac Is He Can't Defend Himself.  Unfortunately, He Died Very Early And Didn't Get The Chance To Mature His Music.  For Instance: Paul McCartney Is A Legend, But Not Because Of The Awesome Music He Did With The Beatles, It's More Because He's Been Around For Almost 40 Years, And Still Has A New Cd Coming Out.  And If You Look Back, He's Had 50-60 Top 10 Songs, Damn.  Tupac Could Have Done That, But Didn't Get The Chance.  Snoop Will Have That Chance, And So Will Eminem (God Willing, As Long As They Don't Get Shot).

We ain't sleepin... Check the very first post, I mentionned Common... And I just forgot Plug One from De La, u right on that... Now, on the RAGE topic, I think u're also right. She could have locked that GOAT title down if she had stayed in the game. But she still is one the sickest MC (male OR female) to ever drop. Lyrically, she's a killer... But I believe that Pac is the greatest RAPPER and Rakim the greatest MC. And, honestly, I don't know about Snoop being that great of an MC (and I'm a MAJOR Snoop fan). Kurupt, Xzibit, yeah they are, but Snoop? He's one of the greatest rapper ever but I'm not sure the word MC applies here. Eminem definitely is an MC and a great great rapper too, so watch out y'all, 5 years from now, he could lock BOTH titles down (And I don't wanna hear about race, please, I'm A BROOKLYN NIGGA but real recognize real)... For now 2PAC and RAKIM hold all the crowns...
