i had a friend who lived in redondo beach. it wasn't ghetto but wasn't insane

they are both nice, more suburban type areas, but not super rich type neighborhoods.

Depending what side of Torrance. West is big time expensive. North..not bad. South..somewhat. East side...not really.
Redondo is expensive.
