it's only southern california people that say THE in front of the freeway names. like ( you take THE 101 to THE 405 to THE 10) but northern californians say it without the THE's. ( take 880 to 580 to 680)   and i'm not sure why it is like this in socal

Well, it really is THE 5 or THE 405. There's isn't another one like it.

yea it's kind of like the handshake thing too. in so cal you always give the little dap at the end of the shake. in nor cal u don't.
