40 Glocc Is Signed To Mobb Deepīs Label "Infamous"

Cali rapper 40 Glocc is now living his dream. The rapper was born in Galveston, Texas, where he lived with his grandparents till the age of 8, then he was reunited with his mother and moved to California. Expecting to live a normal and good life with his mother, things didn't turn out quiet that simple. After living in MacAurthor Park for a while, 40 and his family relocated to Colton City, San Bernadino, better known as "The Zoo". Life got hectic at home with his mother when he befriended some Colton City Crips as running buddies...the good life quickly turned to the street life. Unfortunately, 40 left home at the age of 13 and endured the REAL street life where he slept in cars and outside of grocery stores with the bums. He was shot several times by the police and ended up in a wheelchair for months. He caught a home invasion case, which he actually didn't commit, and it took him 6 months to beat.

All the while 40 Glocc had a dream and a talent, that of rapping and telling vivid stories of what he had been through in the streets. He soon formed a group with fellow emcees K-9 and Natural Born, calling themselves the The Zoo Crew. Releasing "Migrate, Adapt or Die", which became an underground hit, 40 quickly became one of the best hidden talents on the streets. He was then picked up to be managed by long time friend Storm, and soon after released his first solo album, "The Jackal", on which he worked with West coast peers Rass Kass, Bad Azz, Kurupt, and Trae Dee and production by Dr. Dre, Protege, and Battle Cat. His label Empire Music Werks did not have their promotions game up and after he spent what he was advanced on his own project, 40 departed ways.

After the West coast kinda lost their hold on the rap game, 40 linked up with long time friends Mobb Deep who was at the time signed to Jive Records. With the West coast not selling, they were dropped and fortunately picked up by G-Unit Records. 40 was now running with rap's finest and shortly after, he signed to Mobb Deep's label, Infamous imprinted by G-Unit.

40 Glocc now secure and comfortable where he is, has since toured the world and went to countries he had only dreamed about. Things are now looking upward for the rapper who still has plans and dreams of making a good album that touches peoples souls. It would seem the he has everything an aspiring rapper would want and he does.This definitely was not an overnight success for him, he waged through difficult circumstances to still be here, and he knows he can't rap forever and is working on building up his label Zoo Life to grow old with.

it def was, but that song was written like 3-4 years ago just took forever to get released imo he has become much weaker since joining GUNIT all of his shit with the riflemen and preriflemen was fire, everything since has been AVG imo
