would that make the Heat the oldest team of all time?

I think the Rockets of the late 90's

PG Eddie Johnson
SG Clyde Drexler
SF Scottie Pippen
PF Charles Barkely
C Hakeem Olajuwon

yeah I was right. Drexler retired after the 97-98 season and Pippen played one year for the Rockets 98-99. Drexler played with Barkley and the Dream as did Pippen but the 4 NEVER played together. And Eddie Johnson didnt start at PG either. He was a solid bench player...

Im looking forward to see Scottie Pippen play but it would be better if it was Michael Jordan wanting to come back for another year

Heeell nah, Jordan already "hurt" his legacy back in 2003. I was watching the 03 All Star game before the 07 one on Sunday, and damn....it was really painful watchin Jordan struggle, especially missin those first seven shots.

And yeah Pippen is a twat for tryin to hop on that bandwagon...he doesn't even fit on their roster, and he was playin trash in 04 before he retired.

Fuck it, I'll say it again....he just wants to win that seventh ring so that he can have one more than Jordan.

Shiet does that really make him feel better tho? I mean I'd rather bow out gracefully with 6 then to sell my dignity to get 1 more. He earned the 6 he got in Chicago, but if he wins one with Miami, Dallas, or San Antonio then he's gonna get looked at like John Sally with the Lakers.

i heard he is still in good condiotion because he was at a camo and i think kobe was there and he said he was in good condition. but he has never been a fourth quarter player so hes prolly not gona be a big force on a team.

lmao he said he wants to play for a team in a warm location.
hmmmmmm i wonder were he wants to go.

PIPPEN is a gangsta

He can do it if he's really that healthy, i would love to see him back cuz NBA is hella wack now days.  He had a good run with the blazers and they were real close to going to the finals, that could have been his 7th then after that his team sucked.

JORDAN COULD HAVE NEVER WON ANY RINGS WITHOUTH PIPPEN, the haters need to back off!

I was trying to go off memory... lol. Oh well, bottom line, those Rocket teams were OLD!!!! At least Miami would have D-Wade.

Works both ways. Neither one of them are at home polishing up a championship ring that they won without the other. Pippen had a better chance at number 7 than Jordan did, but getting past the Lakers with Shaq in his prime and Kobe with all the energy in the world was damn near impossible.
