didn't know that guy was bay based. that's cool.

listening to the 'strut' song. I like her voice but man am I funk biased, I said the same thing I'm about to say about the last song Meech showed us: I feel it could use a bass guitar to flesh it out. any recommendations from her album that are more funky in texture?

For something more funky maybe check out track #8 (Movin) and possibly #4 (Love Is Gone). Those are probably the closest to a funk vibe - hope that helps!
