This one against italians is just a bad prejudice. A stupid one. Things like that happens every week all over the world. Just to talk about yesterday, Giggs kicked a free kick before the refs gave him the authorization and when french players were still preparing, Fergusson said the players of Lille menaced the ref and acted like "mafiosi", the french police assaulted Man UTD fans, Man UTD fans acted like hoolygans, Van Bommell did that horrible celebration.. C'mon! Morons are everywhere. In Italy like in Scotland, in France, in Spain, etc..

About Gilardino, he usually ain't the type of player who dives. But he did. He received a yellow card for that (but he didn't even ask for the penalty). He made an horrible mistake. But it's just about it. Don't add a diss against italians, it's unnecessary. I won't blame dutch people for Van Bommell's celebration. Or... i don't know.. africans for that infamous Zokora dives.

a team has the right to take a freekick as quick as possible without any interferance from the referee nor the opposition. the freekick-taker does not need permission from the referee (a whistle). however, if the opposition isnt far enough away from the ball, the attacking team have the right to bring the referee into play to mark where the 10 yard line is for the opposition. only in this case do the attacking team have to wait for the whistle before playing the ball.

and yea... gilardinos dive was oscar material....

I'm not saying it wasn't a regular goal. The captain of Lille said it. And it looks like Lille is going to protest at the UEFA offices about that. I didn't see that match. I've seen Real-Bayern. So i don't know if the ref was marking the 10 yard line. Is there a video of it? So we can check it?

What's so bad about what Van Bommel did? He used to play for Barca, so Real fans can suck it.

Now they want to get him banned ... pussies.

the goal was a result of inexperience from Lille. all they had to do was to place a player in front of the ball to force Manchester U to bring the ref into play.  as soon as the ref started walking away,  the ball could be played

I love how they talk about dude like he commited murder or something, So fucking great, I want a British friend so bad, The emotion in their words is insane, i could be eating cereal and they would describe it in such finesse, and with at crazy ass accent that sometimes if used too heavy can be misunderstood.

And if anybody was to blame for fake diving it should be the Germans, where do you think the name SCHWALBE comes from.

And the thing Giggs did is the same what Hendry did in England a while ago, and everybody was crying about that. And now he did it himself.
They dont really know sportmanship in England.

Gilardino was silly going down there. his touch away from the defender was a lil hard but he still looked to latch on to the ball even if he had taken it wide still could have cut the ball back to a team mate, wasteful.

+  you cant really call out the italians about diving now a days, its a new culture thats crept into the game.. as annoying and frustrating diving can be sometimes there attempts at conning the refs are just too funny, this is a classic example..
