bittorrent of death
« on: February 24, 2007, 08:00:39 AM »
I opened a file I d/l'd last night and all of a sudden I got about 15 blank pop ups and it tried to change my homepage from yahoo to some weird name.  Can I uninstall IE7 and reinstall it using my ISP browser?

I don't know what to use to remove it.  avast.com didnt detect it :(

what torrent did you download? did it do anything to your pc or just open some windows and change your homepage? If that's all it did you don't need to reinstall shit.

Pretty much just IE7, but I need to fix it so I can re-use it.  I'm on Firefox 2.0 or something like that

Firefox is better than IE anyway. Whatever the file was, it did you a favor.
