Okay, so give me one Lil Wayne song to prove to me he isn't wack
« on: February 25, 2007, 06:21:53 AM »
magazines keep saying he's the new great rapper and stuff like that, so anybody who believes all that bullshit, I'm willing to give him a chance.  So give me one song, and I'll listen to it and give it a chance.

I'll co-sign to that
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

Check Hollywood Divorce from Outkast for example. He completley outshined Andre, Boi and Snoop.

Wayne really improved, especially his flow and delivery are nice, he still does drop some wack shit, espeically on all these rnb joints hes on.

Wayne's verse on Make it Rain Remix was one of the worst I've heard, flow and delivery was garbage too

His remix to Jay-Z's "Show Me What You Got" impressed me. Way superior to Jigga's original version...then again, the original was hardly a classic tune.
"Shit ain't all peaches and cream, and I ain't Sara Lee, bitch!" - Lloyd Banks

"I'm Morpheus in this Hip-Hop Matrix, exposing fake shit." - Common

"With consecutive platinum hits, I up my status. Ain't no more Calvin Broadus!" - Snoop

"Look at all these conscious rappers - guess who influenced them?" - KRS One

Maybe he is the greatest rapper alive.

He's a rapper, not an emcee.

Georgia Bush

that song was the worst political track AIMed at the bush administration..."round here we call him..gerogiaaa...bush?" lmao what a sad exuse to use the sample imo.....btw Andre 3000 was not outshined on that song Wayne was just average. Wayne has improved but nothing special at all. I have mad people try showing me his mixtapes and its not convincing.

Wayne is a good rapper, but it shows you how weak the game is now when people say he is the best rapper doing it right now.
