I think Warren G in my eyes has always been more consistent over the years...

Daz has dropped some monster beats but over recent years some have been well below par

Soopa is the same as Daz in many ways, incredible producer but in Soopa's case he doesnt release enough material and when he does it can often be hit or miss

Good comparision though as they are all great producers but all have slipped up during thier careers with poor quality material

Yeah Im going to go for Warren G as well, hands down.

Daz and Soopa, especially Soopa, have also made good beats but Warren just knocks them out of the water through his soulfulness and consistancy. Warren also happen to be one of my favourite rapper so that really gives him a head start right there  8)

i think Daz has come up with so many good beats in the past, that even if he fucks up here in there now, imma still give him the most heat.   warren g and soopafly, great contenders as well though.   8)

I consider daz/soopa a production team. Most of their shit is collab in some way. and I think they make the bangers.

warren g for that softer funky shit.

I like warren's shit more but Daz/soopa have some classic classic shit under their belt.

Yeah but there is a distinct difference between a Daz and a Soopafly beat. Soopa incorporates alot of different sounds into his beats. His are alot more musical. He also adds more stratches and vocal samples than Daz. Daz got that 808 basslines and hard hitting drums and keys. Soopa's most recent work has been hitting hard bass wise like a Daz beat. The 2 of them together they make some dope shit.

yeah soopafly does that cartoony shit. daz does that fat bass stuff. if we're talking separate than I go with Daz cause he has way more output but Soopa is good as fuck. and I like warren's melodies better than both daz and soopa's stuff but I think they're nigh evenly matched.

If this thread was around Daz's Death Row days I would say Daz. Today he is a little bit predictable with his beats. You don't know what you gonna get with Soopafly. He takes chances, uses alot of sounds that are not trademark to DPG. The beats he did on Cali IZ Active were most def on some gangsta shit but it had a updated twist to it. Daz since 99 or so has been using a co producer so I have not heard a str8 Daz beat in a while. As of right now, I will check for a Soopa beat before a Daz one. But it sounds like Daz got some heat for Dogg Chit.

Daz & Soopafly did that song. I can't remember the last song Daz did by himself.
