The song would be dope.

LOL @ 50.  This negro knows his name alone isn't gonna bring on the sales of his prior albums so he's trying to lock down the biggest guest spots to try and push his album.  What a pussy.  Honest to god I couldn't give a fuck if I ever heard this song anyway.  Jay sucks, Em sucks, 50 beyond sucks, Nas will bring something to the table but I don't see it being enough to distract me from all the other clowns on this track.  Outside of Nas, this is the real "Legend Of The Fall Offs" track.

Sounds to me like 50's tryin to copy the Nas / Kanye / KRS / Rakim / Primo joint.

boo hoo

You keep overanalzing everthing 50 does, youre writing esseys about his every single move  :-X

That's what losers say when they have no arguement.

You think that was an essay? That shit took all of 3 minutes.  I didn't even get started homeboy.

The difference is im a fan and its normal to post news of an artist you like but considering "50 is wack, he fell off years ago" to Jrome I have no idea why all the long posts about someone you apparantley dont care.

Dog Im fan of Hip Hop.  I talk about everything I like and everything I don't like.  I post in all kinds of different topics concerning it.  It's a fucking message board.  If it bothers you when somebody says something bad about your hero then quit posting here.

Well don't get me twisted man, in his prime Eminem should be considered one of the all time greats.  You're 100% right, he was an animal.  And I honestly believe he's still got it in him, but he's not nearly as driven as he used to be.  From an artistic standpoint, the worst thing that ever happened to Em was him getting his respect and props from his contemporaries.  I think he was really driven to prove how good he was, so he put everything into each line he wrote.  After people acknowledged his genius, he didn't really have to prove anything and it really showed on Encore.  So my statement about not wanting to hear him on a track is due to the types of joints he's been doing for the last couple of years.  He just hasn't done ANYTHING for me, whereas his first 3 major releases found me rewinding his verses over and over till i knew them top to bottom.

As far as Jay - I don't like the juxtaposition of the artist / pres of def jam.  People are so distracted by the bright lights, Beyonce, big name producers, phony ass retirement, etc. that they failed to see how crappy Kingdom Come was.  It was so lame and corny.  Even more than that, i think he's dumbed down his flow and delivery way too much.

And 50, he's done really nothing since GRODT.  He's coasted off the mega success of that album (which was the result of Dre's beat more than 50).  Dude has been wack for like 4 years.

But don't get me wrong, all 3 of those dudes have gotten 100's of spins from me.  It just so happens that everything they've all done in the last couple years has been extremely wack and I hold them to that.  I don't understand why so many people constantly give them a pass.  It's like people have been bombarded with so much wack bullshit that they don't even know it's wack.  They've been conditioned to it.

I think your 100% on point with everything you said there....first of all I dont think 50 has any talent that puts him above any other artist except he's got a smooth flow and  hes a decent song writer...which both of those only go so far for me personally. But as far as Em and Jay...a friend a mine is obsessed with Jay and he likes the Re-up and he can't understand why I dont like either of they're new albums. I can't really listen to any Eminem anymore especcially cause to me its like, if you go to Mcdonalds you expect Mcdonalds level food. But if I'm goin to a restaraunt that for years has been servin me some gourmet shit and then all the suddenly they start giving me mcdonalds type food...chances are I'm gonna completely stop goin there even though I don't dislike mcdonalds at all. No matter what when I listen to Eminem or Jay-Z I cant help but expect what they're capable of, and if they don't bring it I'm going to be a little irratated.

50 and Nas never really had a serious beef, its just 50s ego because of that J.Lo song. Now that Nas is with Jay anything could happen.

I know their beef wasn't that serious, but do you recognise the significant differences between 50 and Nas?

Nas is saying he respects 50 for his hustle and all, but at the same time Nas sort of puts 50 in the category of those who are the biggest causes for the current state of hiphop. Nas is the one saying all this beefing shit needs to stop. Nas is the one calling for growth. So what makes you think Nas would want to collaborate with 50 on a song that will only cause more trouble? After all, 50's intentions for this track are basically opposed to Nas' goals of creating more unity. 50 is intending to use the song to showcase his cockiness...

Do you really think that nas wants more unity? nah man, he wants real hiphop back, and there used to be a time where classics came out and people was dissing, dissing other rappers always has been a part of hiphop, like it or not, but not for commercial purposes but more for the state of the art, as i like to call it, i dunno, maybe nas gets on te song....maybe not, chances are 50  ;)

Shit man, I haven't propped you in a couple days and now look where your karma has gone :o

+1 because you're right, although I do see things differently. Nas wants to restore hip-hop, and that is something that does require some sort of unity: it requires respect. That's not something you'll gain through random dissing. Of course, beef has been part of hip-hop for a long time and it has given us some of the most noteworthy moments in hiphop history. A bunch of legends jumping on a track together to show off how good they are (or more realistically, how much they've fallen off) does little or nothing to improve the state of hiphop, which Nas claims to be so worried about. If, however, Nas ends up on this track and randomly starts dissing people or acting cornier than my breakfast cereals, I'll agree with TTK for the very first time: that would truly be proof of his 'bipolar character'. Good thing is, I just can't see it happening. Not like that.

yeah man, thanx, theres def a lot of haters who dont wanna expose themselves, i have no idea who is dissing me with the karma, but they clearlym ust be really upset about me, goddayum, i love the drama  8)

+1 to you too, i respect your opinion, i hope its true though, cause you get more unity in the game when the big stars give the right example, hopefully many other rappers will follow their lead....

I thought we've been through this before. Nas has a bipolar character.  ;D

Considering the fact that his beef with Jay was way more serious and we all know on which label he's on, its quie possible. And 50 and Nas collabing would go with the whole "lets unite" thingy you pointed out  ;)

Let's not forget:
1) A news article on the website of a radio station doesn't exactly make the content official.
2) Nas hasn't confirmed anything yet. It just tells you 50 wants Nas on his album.
3) You have yet to prove the truth behind the bipolar character you keep accusing Nas of having...

as far as the radio stations website goes...i've never heard kube report any news that wasn't true...granted its been3 or 4 years since i've listened to kube....but thats just about all i listened to for like 10 years straight
