Go-ahead for goal-line technology

The International Football Association Board (IFAB) has given the go-ahead for the development of goal-line technology at a meeting in Manchester.
The IFAB has laid down four criteria for the goal-line technology systems.
-That technology should only apply to goal-line decisions.
-That the systems must be 100% accurate.
-That the signal to the referee must be instantaneous
-That the signal is only communicated to the match officials.

Totally sucks. I think there must be other ways that this.
Whats next a foul-technology or offside technology? Football is going to become more stop-start than it already is. Ridiculous!!!!!!!
There has already been goals where video technology has been analysed after the game and the goal still hasnt been proved in or out, so what is the point really.
All that is needed is better ref's and linesmen. Fitter ref's = better and quicker positions they can take up on the field, therefore getting better advantages when it comes to decisions such as; has the ball crossed the line?
This could ruin football in my opinion. I have never thought the idea would work, and I very much doubt I will be proved wrong. All this will do is cause managers to call for reply after reply after reply. Look at how many stops rugby and american football have. SHITE!!!

I don't think they are talking about replays. It's about having a chip somewhere in the ball and it will send a message to the refs when the ball completely passes the line.

I doubt it will be possible to do. And I doubt its going to work as easily as it sounds.

^^You're being pretty negative...It's an ADVANCEMENT, I don't see what it can take away from the game.

I would be all for it, unless it significantly slows down the game..
If a signal can be instantly sent to the ref then great!!

surely once the ball goes over the line, something on the ref vibrates or beeps and a goal is given. Easy, no stop starting at all.

Yep that's pretty much the idea. If the ball crosses the line, boom it's a goal. This only helps the game
