I think alot of artists use the term "street single" sometimes as a excuse. Think about it, if the record flops it is "not a real single" and "the label did not approve the song, I picked it out just to put it out there". If it blows up then it is I blew up off of a street single, it is not even official. Sometimes it is songs that the artist foot the bill for. It is getting back to where artists and labels got to get the promotion and hustle game up to create a buzz for these albums.

I think street singles are joints put out there way before the album release to create some buzz like Vato which they knew was not gonna get radio play cause of the content but it reintroduces Snoop spitting as hard as he has in years, and then they drop the radio single around the album release That's That Shit to get airplay and continue the buzz
intrested to see 8Ball & MJG's #s next week. have a good feeling it's gonna flop major. diddy is a retard. fill the album with party cheesy tracks, and release a GANGSTA song as the single anyways, "cruzin" with three 6 mafia & slim of 112 is the next single according to ball & g
I like Games album but I dont think he has any singles on there that will do well mainstream wise. Wouldnt Get Far didn't help sales one bit and I think that was probably Games best chance at a mainstream hit. Game might just say fuck it and save money on putting out another video. If I were Game, id do a remix to one of the songs on the album
