I found this on MTV.com in an article about G-Dep's new video:

As the director yells for action, P.D. starts to pop a little, then puts his hands on his hips and begins gyrating. Before Quested yells cut, Diddy will pull out an arsenal of dances, including his patented spins, the Robot, the Harlem Shake and the Crip-Walk.


Snoop has already commercialized the C-Walk, and Xzibit has embraced it as if his dad created it.  Now P.Diddy is doing it.  What is your opinion about this?  I hope that P. Diddy doesn't go out to L.A. after this video is played without 15-20 bodyguards.

The C-Walking is so commercilized now that a crip would be retarded to take offense to someone do it.  It looks like its time for the Crip Clan to go back to the drawing board.  I know- The idea of the Crips doing something original is far fetched--but we'll see.

hey......its all good...just means..the Crips have influenced hip hop to the fullest when u got P.diddy.............White upperclass kids....and any other..out of the ordinary people doing it behinds closed doors.........


if i was a crip...i would look at it as something good.....

too bad they couldnt patent the shit.....then charge a fee every time someone did it....and if they didnt do it..right..beat there azzzz...


i know how to crip walk...but i dont go out to the clubs..doing it......thats disrespect to me.......my crip friends are coo with me doing it....so i have been accepted........

plain n simple if u are not down with the culture..or dont know anything about it...dont do the shit......or accept the potential reprecussions of it....


hey u never know...P.Diddy might know some Crips.....i remember a story on Mack 10 a long time ago..he was visiting.....fat joe and big pun....in NY and some NY bloods rolled up on them..and gave them luvvv.......... so we know the bloods and crips are represented on both coast....

yeah i find this odd.. but oh well i'm cool with it.. i mean as much as some of you may not liek him.. kinda like me.. but i'm cool with him.. hes got it all ..except jlo lol-.... so e'l just have to see what he does next

tray dee said on rap city that when he sees people doing it, it makes him have more pride becuase his lifestyle is being embraced by the industry... so if tray deee a REAL OG crip (not some stupid ass internet wanna be groupie crip) says he's cool with it i ain't got no objections to it

Its pretty stupid for him to do that, cuz believe me cuz fights start every Friday & Saturday at Clubs and Parties cuz of C-Walkin' & B-Walkin'...I honestly hope he actually does it at a REAL club, not some upper class sippin' on Christol Club bullshit, and gets his ass kicked...But ohh well fuckit let him do whatever he wants...
