Aim aol instant messenger

Is my aim the only one that does not work. I keep getting "A server error occured" ?

Does anybody know if these a substitute instant messenger program that i can use instead of AIM. And if i can also long in with my aim screenname and it would possibly transfer all my buddys?

try using trillian, one client, that can connect to msn, aim, icq and googletalk
