Dead has arisen & Steel on a mission are classic gangst funk albums. anybody who dont have em, go get em.... besides all these classic albums like chronic, doggystyle, these are like the little nephews or brothers of the chronic and doggystyle. I miss those days where music like this was created. lil half dead is a decent rapper, enough to make you bop yo head.... production is dope, westcoast g-funk at its finest. a shame Lil HD never got any more exposure thru these albums.

Word, Dead Has Arisen was great. I heard he was comin with a third album one of these days although that was a while ago.

Was he on Wrong Idea by Bad Azz and Snoop? It says featuring Lil HD but I remember hearing him rap or even seeing him in the video back in the day when that shit got play. I love that track though.

yeah he was supposed to come wit a new record on Daz's label I think, but apparently he never came through ( Lil HD ) to finish it up..... thats what I heard, too bad though, I ws looking forward to that one.

I have the Dead Has Arisen OG, and it is a fuckin great G-Funk album.  I wish I could get it remastered.

Second album was good but couldn't touch the first one IMO.

i better try ebay... i found it on amazon.com for 48$ and on amazon.de for 99€. It's a shame that it's so rare.

Don't buy any rare albums from amazon, cause they are hella over priced. You can get Dead Has Arisen for only 25$ from ebay easily if you keep looking.
In my opinion The Dead Has Arisen is the best album from Lil ½ Dead, but Steel On A Mission isn't falling far from it. TDHA has better beats, I think. Both classic albums and if you like g-funk at all, you just gotta have at least Dead Has Arisen album.

yep, TDHA is more versatile in production, SOAM not that much, but the beats still bang! both are slept on classic.... everybody I gave a copy of one of these, is like who is this cat? this shit bumps... etc.
