Well, not really. Every man in Norway gets called in for healt check and several other tests, to check if u are able to serve the army a few years before we get called in. Mine was in 2004.

^Yeah we got those tests here in Poland too.Luckily, they don't want me in the army (I'm allergic, got serious back problems, supposedly something is wrong with my feet & I'm pretty easy to provoke/get angry real quick).They even sent me to phsyciatrist or something like that (they only send you there when they see you're easy to provoke etc.).It ain't that bad tho, we only get around 9 months.

I still find it utterly amazing that certain countries in the 21st century still have army-conscription. I mean...in some way, that's basically a dictatorial regime. Forcing young adults to join the army...come on.
