Snoop, Nate, Dre, DPG doing too much!!!
« on: October 05, 2001, 11:29:09 AM »
Man, i appreciate that all these cats is puttin out songs like crazy, i mean Nate been on mad cuts, Dre cut so many singles for EVERYone, Daz and Kurupt doing lots of work.
Now, i ain't complainin, cuz i remember back between like 1996-98 there was hardly any DPG, Dre stuff and i was dying.
What I am saying is this: These guys could put out better quality stuff if they would concentrate on one album at a time, probably all drop classics.  I am sure Nate's album will be off the hook, and i did feel Kurupt's last joint, and i love everything Dre puts out, but you gotta admit something is always lacking.  I liked Dillinger and Gotti, but compared to Dogg Food, it is laughable.  I liked the new Eastsidaz and Snoop's last album, but damn he could do WAY better.
That's why i am feeling this new Warren G stuff, the songs from the promo.  Cuz it feels like he really put some time into that shit, and is trying to make his upcoming album a classic like his first regulate album.  Props to Warren G, i mean ,i have been disappointed every time A DPGC affiliated album comes out and Warren isn't in on it, but i think it will make his album that much better that his best work will be on his album.  I can't stop listening to his new stuff, it is taking me back to the good ol days...
ok, i am finally done rambling.......peace

You say it Teecee... I agree, the agree to success is TIME!

Dre always takes  a LONG time, but what do we get when he is done... yep, a classic... a great album, however you want to describe it, you are never dissappointed... Snoop is hit and miss nowadays, but I feel he is getting closer to that Home Run if not the Grand Slam...

yeah these people do need to focus more on their own album i mean. .its really cool dre is workin with everybody.. but i want stuff like the chronic and doggystyle...just give dre a while ya kno..have no one really bother him and hav him make an album.. and IMO have all the original people from those albums.. like kurupt, Daz, Nate Dogg, Snoop.. u know just keep it minimal and that'll defintiley make a TIGHT album

It better not be. Well I don't think Nate is doing too much, just snoop. Snoop doesn't seem like he has that much to say where he needs to be on everyone's album then drop one of his own. The eastsidaz joint was bangin' but I got annoyed after hearing something about crips on damn near everything he has done lately.

I only want Dre, Daz, and Warren G to produce Snoop's next album, just like the OG Chronic and Doggystyle, Dre doing most of the work, Daz and Warren adding shit here and there.  That would be tight for sure.  But i gotta feeling that Fred Wreck gonna be doing ALOT of shit for Snoop's next drop.

Doing too much = Snoop...

Snoop has never turned down a collabo, he said he'd be happy to spit a verse for a Shaniah Twain track.  Snoop needs to put more effort on HIS SHIT, don't worry bout songs too much outside the West.

Dre is speeding up, and his stuff hasn't lost a step.  We've got shit of his on "The Wash," "Genesis," "Return Of The Regulator," "Music & Me" etc.  All will be tight.

I think that Snoop's new album could be a classic if there is those producers:Battlecat,Meech,Dr.Dre,Daz,Dj pooh,Dj Quik and Warren G also if it would be truly helpful if he stop claimin his name in every fuccin song also without puttin Kokane in the whole album and with what everybody is waiting for a 213 and a Dpgc song with the whole Fam!!!!
