Devante from Jodeci is on Tha Row!

Supposedly, yesterday on Hot 97, they played an interview with Angie Martinez and Suge, and Suge said that Devante has signed with Tha Row.  He also says that new music from the NEW artists will hit airwaves within a month.  Did anyone on here, who lives in NYC hear this?

I think this is a great move by Suge.  One, it gives Tha Row another producer (along with Hutch, Darren Vargas, Kobane), and he can help the new R&B acts on the label (J. Valentine and PB).  Plus, since K-Ci and Jojo are cool with Suge, as well as Dalvin, IMO a Jodeci reunion album could possibly drop on Tha Row.

No way will Jodeci drop on The Row, but ya, Devante can produce.  Check the After Party Cd, that is G-funk shit, straight up.

Interesting...

Suge in all previous interviews was always talking about how they were going to be grimey and for the streets, but then he praises Ja Rule and is always signing R&B acts.  Im not hatin--but it sounds like Suge is tryin to go commercial.

so hes the mystery/artist/producer. n e ways word up to dpgc2001 they gotta put crook out soon! i could listen to him with no beat and still feel it.

thats DOPE! Devante is the shit. he made 3 CLASSICS! all the Jodeci albums. plus like the homie mentioned above he produced hot tracks for the row b4
