How many releases did 19th Street Records put out?
« on: March 25, 2007, 01:56:44 AM »
Is 19th Street Records still around in any capacity? is Big C-Style dead or alive? Also, does anyone have a discography of this label? The only releases I know of are:
Bad Azz - Word On Tha Streets
19th Street LBC compilation
Straight Outta Cali compilation.

What else was there? Thanks in advance.

I don't think they released anything else, but all of these releases are very dope (specially Bad Azz's 1st album)

"Word On The Streets" was dope.  When I first heard Bad Azz on "Beware of My Crew" I really thought that dude was going to be the next West Coast rapper to blow up, he came so hard on that track.  I think if Bad Azz only missed his time by about a year or two.  If he had came out in 96 his album probably would have been even iller and he would have blown up like he should of.

So only 3 releases? Well that's all good, at least all 3 were dope as fuck. So what's Big C-Style doin nowadays? I remember a thread on here saying he died and everyone was sad then after awhile the poster said that it wasn't true and that he was alive lol.

 :o :o :o

I listened to that album all the way through a few weeks back and honestly the only track I really felt on there was the "Love" skit (dunno why they didnt make a whole song out of that one).
Well, just different opinions I guess ;D

but that 19th Street Compilation was good.
