i´m coming tomorrow (The 28th of March) to amsterdam for 3 days or so... still haven´t decided if i will be staying longer. I actually forgot who´s from Amsterdam on Dubcc... is anyone down to hang out, maybe smoke a J or have a beer? also, i need some help... i got a hostel for the first 2 nights, but there is no space anywhere for friday. Anyone know of any really cheap hotels or some kind of cheap accomodation? peace! looking forward for some good times

I don't think anyone from dubcc is from Amsterdam, at least not to my knowledge. It's too bad I'm too busy these days to come over there and hang out, but I'm sure you'll have a good time regardless.. Enjoy!

naw homie, i'm coming with a chill ass friend who also goes to UCSB. we're staying at a hostel, but i'm kinda scared the ppl at the hostel will be lame cuz it was kind of a last minute reservation, and the hostel i got seems prettyfucking lame. We shall see though... Any coffeeshops y'all recommend?

I have been twice in the last two years, and going again this year.  Nothing better in the world than the dam.  Have a good time homie.  Stay away from the space cakes, haha trust me.

One of the bigger and more touristy places to head to for a smoke would be "The Grasshopper", it's fairly central so it's not hard to find. It's a bit expensive but it's worth checking out, otherwise the best way is to look for the smaller coffee shops down side streets as more locals hang out there and the price is more reasonable.

I found the price of weed quite expensive compared to where i'm from (Aust) so for money's value i went to the "Mushroom Factory" and bought a packet for a similar price i was spending on weed (€16 or so).
