Dre Speaks On The Wash Soundtrk & mo'.

Read Dre talking about The Wash Soundtrack:
"Me and Snoop originally wanted to make the soundtrack album to this movie our reunion CD, " Dre explained during a may interview on the Los Angeles set of "The Wash". "But an October release slot came up, so we didn't have enough time to put that into place. We're going to try and do as many songs as possible for the soundtrack album and get other people to submit tracks." The scheduled mid-October release of both movie and album have been pushed back, however. "The Wash" gets it's chance to clean up at the box office November 14, while the soundtrack album arrives November 6. As Dre continues to tweak the albums lineup, a spokesperson for the project (a joint relelase by Dre's Aftermath label & Snoops Doggystyle Records) confirmed that he and Snoop would be heard together on atleast two tracks. Dre, whose Aftermath label will release the disk, also preforms with Bilal, Xzibit & newcomer Knoc-Turnal, who sings with Dre on the new single, "Bad Intentions". Busta Rhymes and Bubba Sparxxx have solo cuts on the album, as does singer Truth Hurts. "Her album is just about done," Dre said of his latest protege. "We recorded 40 songs with her." Besides Dre, Mel Man, Rick Rock and Hi-Tek check in behind the board. Although Dre hopes to soon begin work on "Detox", his next solo album, he might push the start date back if he gets another hollywood gig (he also has a part in the upcoming Denzel Washington drama, "Training Day"). "It makes it real easy if you know the person your acting with," Dre said about working with his co-star, Snoop. "I've done some acting before, and I kinda sucked at it. But I think i'm catching the knack. I think I have a talent for this." (source: mtv.com)

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

my anticipation for the wash soundtrack has just dropped after reading that...only 2 dre and snoop songs? no word on anything from eminem, hittman, rakim on it? busta and bubba, i don't mind busta but bubba (c'mon)...i figure that if any of dpg, or d12 or rakim were on it he'd name them before bubba but he didn't which means they might not even be on it? like i said, my anticipation for this cd has just lowered...i remember when training day was supposed to be the shit and when i bought it i realized it was SHIT, peace.

If u read again it says ATLEAST 2 trks, that could mean even 3 or 4 tracks. When it speaks bout Busta & Bubba thats was jus' saying that there will b SOLO cuts included from them. My anticipation hasn't lowered after listening to "On The Blvd"...I don't expect anything less to pop up on the Dre/Snoop collabo's.

From the snippet I heard of "The Wash," that beat alone raised my anticipation along with from what I've heard about "Hard On The Boulevard."  I don't wanna peep that song till the video comes out.  "Bad Intentions" didn't move me, pretty average, but maybe it's because I've only heard it once.  Don't worry though, the '5 Star Surgeon General' will come through.

Who do we know will be on this album?
Dre
Snoop
Truth
Eve
Bubba Sparxxx
Bustsa Rhymes
Knoc-turn'al
Bilal
Xzibit
Eminem

Anyone else?
