Just got 2 tickets to KRS-One

KRS-One will be doing his temple of hip hop performance lecture at my school (Cal State San Bernardino) on Tuesday April 10th, 4p-6pm. Got one ticket fuckin' FREE cause I'm a student and then just TEN bucks for another non student ticket. I have a class during the performance but am considering ditching the class. even if i don't see it, 10 bucks for two KRS tickets is ridiculous. anyway, anyone around the IE, down to see KRS? as i said, i don't know if i'm gonna go so i don't yet know the fate of these tickets.

i thought of you when i picked them up, i would give you both tickets in a heart beat homey. i'll be the first to admit you'd be more suited for the KRS performance than me.

anyway, school is crazy...i realized since i just switched into a new math class I really need to go on tuesday to that (that's 4-6, then i have a geology lab 6-9, and I don't know anyone in either class), so seriously, anyone in so cal want these tickets?

it's a 'performance lecture'. My friend has a CD of KRS doing this stuff, it's like a lot of speeches and some raps, some spoken word type poems, some rhyming/freestyling/poem games. cool shit. he has this one song he does with a dude and guitar called 'he's so arrogant' it's dope.

the class is from 4pm to 6pm...exactly when the KRS lecture takes place...fuck, and I have a lab at 6 so i couldn't try to linger and talk to dude either....SUCKS. I remember last time there was a speaker at the school, it was easy to get one on one time with them...fuuuuuuck man.

So I had a lab at 6pm. KRS was scheduled to go on at 5. I stayed till 5:30 and dude had not come out yet so i had to go to class. so basically i paid ten bucks to sit in a room with a bunch of students while a bunch of KRS songs played and then I saw this projector screen say "KEEP RIGHT "THE DVD"" while the songs in the background started to SKIP at which point me and my homey left and blazed a J to some mac mall on the way to class.
