can't wait foe the end to come
This whole thing with the writer or the director or whoever's behind this thing is bullshit. First off, the last season was entirely bullshit. NOTHING fucking happened. It showed promise when Tony got shot by Corrodo, but fuck it never went anywhere!Second, they routinely give us brilliant pieces of film, like for instance when Tony jumped the kid on the last episode, he said "you follow around in pity" or whatever the line was from the piece of paper he was so fascinated by that was taped into his hospital room. Nobody knows where it came from, but a season later he uses the line off the top of his head against the kid. I like little touches like that... but there's not enough. the writers have the potential to be so great but they drop the ball over and over again.Third, they rely on the same old shit over and over again. Tony would have realized Paulie knew about the fishing trip. Why show a flashback with Big Pussy, AGAIN? They've done that 5 fucking times at least. They think it's a revelation to show us Paulie's concerned about the fishing trip. everybody alive knows what happens when Tony takes somebody fishing.Fourth, plotlines go around in big circles constantly. I frankly don't give a fuck if Carmella and Tony are fighting anymore. Tony is who he is. He's an ass. Carmella sells her soul out on nearly every episode, and I've came to the conclusion she's worse than he is because not only does she reap the rewards of the dirt Tony does, she acts holier than thou, all the while benefiting from it. Fifth, I could care less what happens to the kids. It's not even worth showing. I feel no pity for them, they're both a couple little pricks.Sixth, the entire show is turning into a big social statement about how fucked up this whole situation is, and how everybodys lives are fucked up. Who cares? I just want to see some interesting shit, not ordinary shit! Why turn the greatest show on television into something normal and accurate? If I want to see kids act like assholes and mommy and daddy fighting I'll walk down the street to the neighbors house. I'm paying for this shit, HBO ain't free, gimme my damn 10 bucks back if you're gonna keep this shit up.Seventh, just like he dropped the ball on the last season, he announced this season would be a half-season. It's not. 8 episodes and one of them is 2 and a half times the length of a regular one? Why even fucking do that? Thats rediculous, just make it a fucking season.Eighth, the producer does not have the balls to kill Tony Soprano in the final episode. In the first few seasons he showed balls and would do crazy shit in the second episode of the season, that was unexpected. If I were doing this, Tony would be dead and the next 5 or 6 episodes would be about Christopher failing to pull it off and collapsing under the weight of trying to be boss.

I bet he rats out some jihadis and cuts a deal with the fbi to relocate to sicily in return for dropping a RICO case. they like using history in the sopranos and this is pretty much what happenned to lucky luchiano
During WWII the U.S. government is reported to have covertly made a deal with Luciano, who was by then imprisoned. U.S. military intelligence was aware Luciano had maintained good connections in the Sicilian and Italian Mafia, which had been severely persecuted under Mussolini in Italy. Luciano was an American devoted to Sicily, the Mafia, and the USA alike. His help was sought in providing Mafia assistance to counter possible Axis infiltration on U.S. waterfronts, during Operation Avalanch, and his connections in Italy and Sicily were tapped to furnish intelligence and ensure an easy passage for U.S. forces as they moved up through the Italian peninsula. Both during and after the war, the U.S. military and intelligence agencies reputedly also used Luciano's Mafia connections to root out Communist influence in resistance groups and local governments. In return for his cooperation, it is claimed that Luciano was permitted to run his crime empire unhindered from his jail cell, and that during the 1940s, he used to meet US military men during train trips throughout Italy, and he enjoyed being recognized by his countrymen, several times taking photos and even signing autographs for them.In 1946, as part of the payoff for his cooperation, he was paroled on the condition that he leave the United States and return to Sicily. He accepted the deal, although he had maintained during his trial that he was a native of New York City and was therefore not subject to deportation, but was deeply hurt about having to leave the USA, a country he had considered his own ever since his arrival at age ten. Later that year, he flew to Cuba for the Havana Conference, where he retook control of the American syndicate. At the meeting, Luciano ordered the execution of Siegel, who had cost the Mafia millions by opening money-losing casinos in Las Vegas. When the US government learned of Luciano's presence in the Caribbean he was forced to fly back to Italy.
