Did you go away to college? It was EASILY the greatest time of my life. I gained more knowledge there (outside the classroom) than any other time up to this point. Now don't trip, if I had a $50 million shoe deal would I have bailed after 1 year? Most likely. But you're trivializing the shit out of it.

Yes, and I have yet to realize what is so damn great about it. Maybe the entertainment factor in the US is on another level, I wouldn't know. Anyways, I don't think those elite players get much of that "college experience"... for them it is already basketball all day along with the pressure that comes with it.

I don't think the entertainment factor is any different. All I ever needed was some green, some booze, some ladies, and some music and I was good. But I guess college is different for everyone. But I can TOTALLY understand why someone would love the college lifestyle and not want to leave. Hell I want to go back sometimes.

And yeah, for those guys bball is life, but they are gods on campus. And trust me, they get plenty of that college experience
