Have we fucked up the league

I went to the game against boro yesterday and it was probably the worst performance i have seen this season. In all honesty boro were the better team and should have won. They looked like they were going to score when they had possession , unlike united who looked tired , looked like they had no idea's and lacked a leader. No idea why rooney was playing out wide and ronaldo up front in the second half.

Add to the fact we hardly have any defenders fit , all the opposition need to do is boot the ball up in the aiir to there strikers and brown and o' shea look in trouble. We need vidic, ferdinand and neville back but thats not going to happen for a few weeks. By then we will have already played everton (away), man city (away), chelsea (away) and AC Milan twice. Also what is going on with Saha we are missing the options he provides up front. Why can the guy never stay fit ?

All in all im concerned that come the last game chelsea will be ahead of us and they wont mess up. We deserve to win the league this year and its time for the players to step up at this point and prove themselves and for Ferguson top once again show what a great manager he is. If not it will be one of the biggest collapses in recent years, we have lead the league since novemeber, this isnt the time to have a dip in form.

Chelsea play newcastle this afternoon and if they win the difference will be 1 point so the pressure is on.

We do hav reason 2 worry, but its not 2 bad yet! We r still 4 points ahead of them (4 the nxt couple hrs at least!). Plus if it goes really close weve got GR8 goal diff.!

Yesterday United were not the team theyve showed they can b this season, they did look like they lacked leadership and I have no idea why Fergie started Richardson over Giggs? Truly puzzlin! The 1 plus from the boro game was the performance of Van Der Sar, I thought he made sum gr8 saves and had a gud game!

The defense is weak;
Brown=not up 2 it
Heinze=gr8 at movin the ball forward, but hasnt got the support he needs in defense
O'Shea=played ok this yr but I dont think hes fully fit still
Ferdinand, Evra, Vidic & Neville are very much needed and I think that the defense is gonna b a big weakness in the last few games of the season.

As for Saha, he needs to SORT HIMSELF OUT!!! He can b a gr8 player, but he hardly ever stays fit! If hes not carefull he will be shipped out in the summer.

Smith had been lookin sharp over the last few games, but not as much yesterday.

The other thing is that its startin 2 seem that over the last few seasons Boro hav become our bogey team, why, I have no idea 

Ive still got hope tho, we're in a good position and I still think we can win the league and hopefully more, but its gonna stretch us 2 full capacity. Ideally I wud hav liked us 2 play Milan away 1st but...

Im a bolton fan and have always hated united. this year however has been a little different, i've hated the past few years with chelsea throwing cash around and changing football and know that only united had the funds, the manager and the ethos to present a serious challenge and so have been behind you all the way. the football you played yesterday was dreadful, compared to what you have put together all season it was completely out of character and dissapointing...

i think this will come down to the game at chelsea...

i cant see you dropping points here, fergie wil be furious and will turn out two 3 pointers...your problem is now because neither will chelsea, they've turned the form corner and have a fit squad, you had a bad start and a bad ending it seems with injuries whereas they suffered at christmas. so stamford bridge is where you will HAVE to win to get the league this year, its the only game whereby you have complete control over where the points go....you have to assume chelsea will win the remaining games. i got my fingers crossed though, really hope you can do it.

Yeah i pretty much agree with both of you. I can see us dropping points at city or everton thats my main concern.

Going and winning at chelsea would be momentous, chelsea havent lost at home in the league since Mourinho has been charged.

ive got a tiny bit more hope as i really thought it would only be 1 point right now. We cant afford to drop any more points before we play chelsea though.
