tired of hearing daz dillinger
« on: April 22, 2007, 12:16:41 PM »
:) he drop albums like rain. I used to like his music on his "Retaliation, Revenge & Get Back" and Kurupts "Street is a mutha" .  But realy, he have never changed his style on the records, he is to origional.. he should try to reinvent himself

In my opinion he have fallen off big

Has he fallen off?

I agree that Daz is the same thing over and over agian, but it does not really bother me. If that's the type of rappers you're looking for (growth etc.), DPG is the total wrong camp to support

Daz should just stick to producing. He can still be successful in the area. As a solo rappers, he's lame now.

He's not consistent, but very few artists with his kind of work ethic are. The last Daz music I really dug was the 'Dogg Pound Gangsta LP', which I loved.

You know the easiest way to deal with being tired of hearing him though? Don't listen ;)

well he dropped RR&GB, RAW, and This Is The Life I Lead one after another. I think he's fighting to stay relevant and trying everything from staying true to Cali to Gangsta Crunk. I can't knock his hustle and I think he can still do his thing.

C'mon. Give a muthafucker a break. He gotta pay his rent and send cheques to his babies' mommas(if there are any). Albums ain't selling as good as they used to so that's why he drops them more often.

I can't knock his hustle. He has flipped the indie game to work in his favor for so long. I don't know how he can reinvent himself. I think lyrically he brought the heat on CIA   & SSG. I think he is better suited for independent releases. I say it like anything else, if you don't like it don't listen or buy it. It's not like he is all over the radio or TV so it should be easy not to listen to him.
