WIll Quik and AMG make It Happen???

I think the new track will help quik and AMG blow up this year it's movin wit the times...and it's different from what quik is usually accustomed 2, I've heard the track already on music choice, and he's makin an appearance on mun2 wit amg dis weekend as well as performing the new single...I honestly think that if the record is promoted rite, it will give a chance 4 these youngn's 2 here that the old school still got it, let's face it, if the song blows up alot of people r gone 2 think that quik and amg r new artists which is not the case, but it's a good way 2 start sum'n new and be reinvented...I think they can pull it off, it's a club banger track 4 sho, and the bitchez will love 2 dance 2 it at bar/clubs, I can even imagine how the album is gon 2 sound...what ya'll think???

the album pretty much won't pass 250,000 record sales in the U.S.

lets face it, they won't even do D4L, DFB, Young Dro #s.

well considering the fixxers album is coming out on interscope records (much more major then DPG's label), they're going to have a video out on bet/mtv PRIOR 2 the album's release, and the single is more radio friendly then anything DPG can possibly drop, i am VERY willing to make bets on who's going to sell more

Anytime u got the big machine interscope your bound to sell more but not sure what kind of numbers this will do...I heard its getting lots of airplay on the east and in the south so it could stand a chance if thats true!!!

D4L did 500,000+ with a similar sounding single

i know for other reasons they won't go gold, but if promoted properly there's no reason they shouldn't hit about 250,000

and im not saying they'll do those #s, i'm just saying it's realistic if all goes good

Can U Werk Wit Dat didn't even reach Billboard's Top 100 singles list. Since reception of the first single was so awful, their 2nd and 3rd singles gotta be much better if they're going to sell 250K. There's no way that BET/MTV would play their video and people would buy their album just because of the Interscope tag. At the moment, I believe Midnight Life will sell only 50K, if CUWWD is the only hot shit they got.

Well for one.....D4L's single was one of the first songs to sound like this, so as weak as it was, the sound was still fresh. The snap sound has died off a LOT since then, even with T-Pain's new single, which is really like the "last snap song" in my opinion. More than that.....the south overall is a whole lot hotter, and D4L bein from ATL will multiply their sales and airtime in the south. Also....people who don't like Quik still won't buy the album, even if they like this song.

I still don't see it hittin 250 K, because I don't think they'll promote it as much as we would want them to.

i see you disagreeing with 250, but the D4L stuff ain't worth it, cause i said for obvious reasons (i just didn't list them like you did) they wouldn't do D4L #s.

Yes. It gets a lot of airplay too. Not sure about the music video though. I don't watch MTV or BET.
