As a huge Moss fan since his days at Marshall, and a Raiders fan, I am glad for the trade. Moss joining the Raiders was not a good fit at the time, maybe when the Raiders were challenging the Patriots for AFC titles, but not at the time it happen. Right now, the Raiders have a rookie QB, a 31 year old coach, a young and talented defense, they just signed some new linemen and a young RB who had a break out year last year for Indy. Moss at 30 is great, but is not a good fit for the Raiders at this stage. It's sad, but I am glad I got my 18 jersey, and will still sport it, Hell I still sport my 81, always and forever.

and New England ate all of Moss's contract, so it's all good. Now should we move Sapp?

I just hope Mike Williams can turn into his SC form....and I never cared much for Moss, even when we first got him. I do think we should have got a 2nd round pick at least though.

Raiders signed USC receiver Chris McFoy as an undrafted rookie. Went to the same high school as him, his younger brother was good at football too and now plays safety for Arizona State. But looks like Lane Kiffin is taking care of his USC guys.

I still gotta Sapp jersey, but I don't wear it as much since I got the Moss one two years ago. For now I'm sporting Sapp and of course the Brown classic, until I get that Russell.

in the last 4 years i've had to from a Brown, to a woodson, to a moss, now i'm stuck on stupid....i might get a russell, i don't buy their shit til they've proven something on the team.

I had Brown, to Sapp, to Moss, so we are going back to Sapp. I never had a Woodson, wanted one, but never had money in college. I am leaning to getting Russell, his the new face of the franchise. Who knows, it might be Rhodes this next year though.

Williams will benefit from having a QB like JaMarcus.  And the Raiders were nearly desperate to get rid of Moss.  They almost took a 6th rounder instead of a 4th from the Pats.  If they get an unconditional 4th round pick in the draft and don't have to eat any of his salary, they came off ok to me.  Dude was unhappy and thats about the worst thing you can have on your team is an angry superstar.
