Who do you think should release a double album?
« on: September 01, 2001, 03:25:47 PM »
I think, that it it time for none other than Snoop to drop an double album, and what better way than to release it on his own label. It could have the potential to be a hip-hop classic with the likes of All Eyez On Me and life after death

I hope Snoop doesn't, unless it's some quality material, not songs that are half-assed.  "Tha Last Meal" was supposed to be a double LP, Master P said it a year ago.  That fell though...

Definatly Dre, with all the material here I'm sure a lot of us would buy.  2002 leftovers... ;D

I was thinkin like a box set from Dre, down the road when he's done.  A box set with all his hits plus leftover from his whole career.  "The Dr. Dre CHRONICles."  LoL.

There is no way snoop should make a double album. No disrespect towards snoop (cause that's my dog) but he wouldn't last through a double album.

snoop is the last person in the industry to be putting out a double album ...he's tight artist no doubt but he's not capable of making a double cd NO WAY

unless dre dj quik and warren G produce EVERY track theres no way snoop should make a double cd in his lifetime unless it's a greatest hits album

but the ONLY artist who has any business in this profession of putting together a double album is dre...becuase for one thing he has so many god damn connections on the east south and midwest he'd have a grip of tight contributors...plus you're not looking for him to rap so the guest appearances would be greatly appreciated plus damn near 30 new  Dre Tracks to enjoy...granted it would take 2 years or maybe 5 to come out ,dre's perfectionist instinct would make this yet-another-dre-classic.

no one else in this business right now should even consider putting out a double disc unless it's a greatest hits cd or a compilation

No questions gotta be Dre, 2001 was so good I'm sure hes got more than enough talent to fill two cd's.  He's probably got enough good tracks sat on the shelf gathering dust in his studio to fill two CD's !?

I'm Unsure But I Think That They Should Have Made X Raided - X-Ology: The Best of X Raided A Double CD. Then We Would Have Got More Unreleased Tracks, Plus More Featuring Artists.

It would b dope if the whole Detox project became a Double Disk-er........considering that this could b Dre's last solo disk he could go out with a BANG  :o
The whole surround sound shit pack'd wit full on Dre beats, pack'd wit guest appearences - West/East/South, old, new, unheard artists. That shit would blow his current status into oblivious! Gettin' excited thinking bout it, lol  ;D

Outkast needs to put out a double. They are above and beyond the most creative group in hip hop right now.....
