Where were you when you heard about the WTC?

Well I was sleeping... it was early in the morning and I had just woken up, I hopped on the cpu to check my email and after that I made my way to Yahoo! News... the headlines were

"World Trade Center On Fire"

I saw the pic of the first WTC on fire so I turned on the TV and the broadcasting of the disaster was on, at that point only the first WTC had been hit... I woke my dad up cause he watches the news and we were sitting there in like our underwear just watching and then..... the second plane hit... it was crazy... i was like WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? My dad was like OMG, OMG... something is happening, this is not an accident... then about 10 minutes later...THE PENTAGON WAS JUST HIT and about 20 minutes later.... A PLANE HAS CRASHED OUTSIDE OF PITTSBURGH... i instantly new this was terroism... i was glued for the rest of the day... I wish I didn't see it live... i wish I had heard about it instead of seeing it live like i did... I wouldn't feel so much anger... my therapy is to just watch... I've d/l many videos of the crash, and yes I know its sick, but it makes me feel better , I dont know why... that way I can feel the anger about these people instead of shrug it off... seeing people jump, seeing heads roll down the streets, its sick, it really is sick...

seeing both crash 1 and 2 just makes me sick, but I have to see it... i have to know that this is what its all about..

i woke up and went to see what was up and the second plane just hit the WTC

I woke up at like 7 and put and turned on tha radio....and heard tha morning show peeps sayin dis is bad, and they said a plane has crashed into 1 of tha world trade center towers.......I turned on tha TV and thought it's prolly an accident........then as soon as I waz turnin off tha radio, tha second one crashed into tha second tower and I waz like OHHHH Shit....
Dats when I called up my mom 2 check out wass goin on........

Man I remember the thing like it just happened.

It was 6:00AM, I just woke up to the words, "The World Trade Center in New York City is apparently on fire." My moms was already up and I went to wake up my dad. When I turned on the TV in his room I saw the other building catch fire (I didn't see the plane hit the building). I was like "Holy crap, somethings not right here."

Then my dad said "Look, I think someone is shooting the buildings out of airplanes." But we knew it wasn't true because they just said commercial jets were crashing into the towers.

So I went to take a shower and when I came out the fricken Pentagon supposedly got "bombed". Then I started trippin' and getting worried. I went to school and we did nuthin but watch the event unfold before our eyes.

I will never forget 9-11-01.

I was in school period three Roots of opression,  tha Principle comes on tha PA system an says that senior parkin permits wont be give out today an that approximently 45 minutes ago a situation at tha world trade center had occured.  Thats all she said so us students were left out in tha dark.  When I was walkin to my next class i heard a teacher tell another teacher two kamkozi planes had flew into tha WTC,  than after that all tha stories were pourin in,  teachers were watchin it in tha libary.

i was sleepin when it happened ........ i woke up at  10:16  ( i always remember what exact time i wake up for some reason )     and usually i take a shit or a leak first thing but i didnt this time .   and i usually go to the kitchen and check the cabinets for food ........ we never have a damn thing to eat  so i said fuck it  i aint walkin all the way downstairs .
so i went straight to my moms room and turned on the TV .   and i seen Tom Brokaw  on  and was like  WTF   that aint supposed to be on.  and right away the president gave his first speech ......... he was fuckin pissed   so i was like  oh shit  this is major .

i'd just got back from my dinner break.. about 1:30 pm.. and i heard about the first plane by email from a friend.. i went to tell my co-workers in another office, and one of their mums had already called... we then got word about the 2nd plane.. and then the pentagon one. etc

i was dreading the 11th of sep cause i knew i had to go to the hospidal ..... when i got back from the hospidal i turned on my tv and the 1st thing that came on was Sky News .. it was just at where they showed the second plane crashing LIVE! They were going on bout terroism ... i knew cause it was new york and that it was those big buildings it was going cause a huge fuss .... when i seen the buildings and all collaspe live i thought " o my god and i was just dreading going to the hospidal 2day!!!"

I woke up about 1.50pm (i work nights Mon-Thurs) and i switched on the T.V and BBC1 was all like, terrorists have attacked America, and the WTC was burning, so i rang all my fam to tell them all how much i appreciate and love them, then i turned to CNN and watched it for a ages in disbelief...

i had taken the day off work.

i was channel-hopping at about 2.15 - 2.20pm UK time and i saw the WTC on fire, it said two planes had hit. i was just like huh? i thought it was an accident but i couldnt really figure it out. then they ran the tape of the second plane hitting and i knew that werent no accident.

then about 10 mins after they said there was an explosion at the pentagon and reported 2 other hijacks. i was going nuts, didnt know what to think. i was stuck on the TV til about 2am before i fell asleep.

I was already in school, second period on the internet.  It was about 8:50 and I think it was cnn.com, but I saw a picture of one plane crashing into the WTC.  I didn't make much of it, and thought it was a accident or something.  The a girl near me said the Pentagon had been bombed.  So I knew it was terrorism.  When the bell rang it was chaos everywhere.  People still didn't know the whole story.  As I entered Biology, my teacher was freaking out calling her sister in Manhattan, because she goes to school there.  Then our principal came onto the intercom and said that both WTC had been attacked by terrorist, and the Pentagon had been hit by one too.  We did nothing the rest of that class.  All day people were callin there parents, friends etc on cell phones.  We almost got out @ 11:30.

When I got home, I was stunned by the footage of the second plane crashing into the Tower.  Over and over my family watched the footage.  Everyone I knew was okay, my father called my grandmother right when it happend.  I've been watching the news ever since.

Lets see, yeah me and one of my mates were walking down the street about 3:30 UK time and this old woman came up to us (yeah i know it was freaky) and started mumbling (like old women do) about how some people have been blowing up buildings in america...I had no idea it would be to like it was, i didnt think that they would have been big buildings with thousands of people in them.

I just watched CNN all night and posted on here in topics about the terrorists.
