I like this video. If a west coast artist did it, it would be considered run of the mill, but you can't deny that Eazy sample is hot. This song comes off more like giving props. I guess I am tired of rappers not from the west using west coast elements in they videos and it is cool, but when we do it, it is played out. Doesn't make sense to me.

It's definitely a double standard that I've noticed in the last years too.....it seems like whenever a song has a strong west coast feel, but it's done by a non-west artist, people outside the west love it as their own and give it props...but you put a west coast rapper on it, and it is "played out" or whatever. Songs such as "Change the game" from Jay...."Some Cut" from Trillville which basically sounds like "Bomb ass pussy  Pt. 2"....Trick Daddy "Bet that" that sounds like something that woulda been on Restless....they all get love, but the songs that sound just like them don't just because it's a west coast artist.
