Reggaeton Advice

Anyone heard of an artist called Notch (myspace.com/notchonline)? He used to be in the group Born Jamericans, they were one of the first Reggaeton artist the brought Reggaeton music into mainstream in the early nineties. I really like the energy that he puts into his songs along with his lyrics, specifically the new single he has out called “Dale Pa’ Tra.” Have you guys heard of it yet? But I just wanted to let you know that he had a new one out on May 22 entitled “Raised by the People.” Anyhow my coworker from umgd thinks his album is okay, and I just wanted to know what you guys thought about him or his music before I go and buy it. well being one of the few hispanic peeps dat actually dig reggaeton on this forum (maybe becuz im from P.R.), I always been a fan of Notch.....and yes i copped his album da day it dropped (finallyyy), and i can vouche, his album is really good, there is a mix of everything, from reggea-roots, to dancehall, hip hop, reggaeton, a very well put album! and i really like his style.  this man isn't even hispanic, yet he sings most of his songs in spanish wit barely any accent, as well as perfect english, so its a mix of 3 things..........another good artist to check out is Baby Ranks, who he's more known in da reggaeton scene.........but as of yet, no album from him yet.......
