Master P’s "Hip Hop Story" Will Be Release Same Date As 50 Cent’s "Curtis" Album

According to Master P he will release his first father and son Hip Hop album, titled Hip Hop Story September 4. Surprisingly it’s the same date that  rapper 50 Cent will release his third album Curtis on.

Master P stated that he did not pick the date to compete with 50 Cent but instead creating a market balance and giving the kids a freedom of choices.

He also made a statement saying "This record isn’t about making money; it’s about providing a choice, changing, and hopefully saving lives."

Hip Hop Story will not content any explicit lyrics, and all the profit to the album will go towards foundations and scholarship for underprivileged children who like to gain college education. More shockingly, he went along admitted he was once the problem saying, "Before we condemn others for making a change, we should take a look in the mirror and ask ourselves, what we are doing? Are we a part of the problem or are we a part of the solution?"

Because master p doesn't actually believe this crap.  He's just cashing in on the whole Imus controversy that Al Sharpton and Russell Simmons are currently exploiting.  P's been jumping on fads year after yaer.  That's all he's doing.  It's all just lame publicity stunts.

Did anyone notice that he's re-releasing his Ghetto D album right now?  How can he re-release that and then say he's all about positivity?  The guy is a joke and he wears hats w/ braids sewn into them.

You're right el dudo, P must only want to sell 3 records on that "Super Tuesday"...

Although, I doubt P thinks his albums will make any money, he prolly just does them to keep his name out there.

Yes!  I said the same fuckin thing in that other topic where we discussed P's announcement he was moving towards positivity.  And I agree...how is he gonna say he's embraced positivity when he's still putting out negative records like that to make money?

Although we don't always agree (as evidenced by my profile right now), I'm glad to see we at least think alike on this.

But yeah, he's an idiot.  If he was so smart he would have known that Beats By The Pound was THE reason that his label was successful.  As soon as they left, the entire label unraveled and they became irrelevant.  If he was smart he would have never let them leave.
