Exclusive Video Feature With Tyrese - June 2, 2007 By : Eddie

We’re back with another huge exclusive feature. This time, Dubcnn linked up with Tyrese, aka Black Ty, for a colossal feature that no other media outlet could pull off. We were invited to join Tyrese as he went to a photoshoot, and he was kind enough to let us capture the whole day on film. In the first part of this double feature event, Black Ty describes his experiences filming “Transformers,” which is coming to a theater near you July 3rd. He also clues us in on an important “unspoken truth” that debilitates African-American actors in the film industry.

After this, you will get a sneak peek at some of the talent on Tyrese’s record label, Headquarter Entertainment. We speak with Watts native Stix, who talks about his rock group, Life Nine, and his hosting duties at the rap battle event “The Pit” in Los Angeles. We also meet up with Curtains, a Brooklyn MC who is ready to become the next rap superstar.

What did you guys think about when he was talking about how African-American actors don't get sent overseas to promote films? I didn't know that, and that's fucked up.

Yea its crazy, was interesting to get his take on Hollywood in general! Transformers sounds promising too!!

I thought that part was really interesting. I havnt heard any other actors come out and openly speak about that. Props to Tyrese and you for the feature
