Westside from David Banner is one big shoutout to the whole Westcoast, and that song came out on his 2005 album Certified. I think that's one of the few shout out-tracks to come at in the last few years.

can you imagine game shouting out someone ?

Yes I can, Documentary was one big shout out with shoe-ads attached.

You don't need shout outs these days, because all the albums dropping now got 20-50 guests.. they can shout their self out.  :D

All in all, it was a great thing to do and needs to be done these days, cause unity can make things better

Kokane-Funk Upon A Rhyme-there was some fly ass shout outs. And on Daz Dillinger-Retaliation, Revenge And Get Back was track Outro Why Do We Bang, it has some shout out on cool ass beat.

Back in the day youngster, solo cd's had MINIMAL guest appearance.

Nowadays, why give a shout out?  Half the fucking world is on your album.
