South is shouting out many in their tracks, shows unity you know, the west is a bunch of individuals trying to make it at the cost of others and beefing 24/7 just cause it makes you look "tough".

Homie no disrespect, but i dont see anyof these artist blowing up besides lil.E...eastwood is better back with blackgang....everybodyelse is just underground at best, nothing mainstream that the world can feel.not saying they aint good.i feel where u are comeing from, but that aint gonna cut it....i think the only thing that can bring the west back for sure!and to put all these other artist out is another NWA lp.cause people will wake up and notice then.....untile then a big shout out to MJG&8ball for another banging album.SOUF;SOUF YALL. 8)

Word, all these new west cats got no mainstream appeal, nobody will check for them except the people who already are checking (and supporting) for the west.

Ice cube use to do shout outs.go checkout kill at will.nigga had the   old quick beat behind him, doing the shoutouts.shit was dope....plus i think when a solo artist heres his name or group,it makes a big difference.than calling a person, cause the whole world would know then aint no beef between this person and that person. 8)

CMW's 'Music To Drive-by' has a classic shout out track.

No doubt about that.Too $hort has done shout out tracks too if I'm not mistaken

All in all, it was a great thing to do and needs to be done these days, cause unity can make things better

Milkbone had a great shout out track at the end of his first album. It had a cool sample from some 70s group that I can't remember.
