What yall think of DMX ?

this isnt aimed at jake im just responding to all yall and givin yall my opinion

well you put him on the same level as nelly huh. DMX doesnt have the pop half singing album like nelly does and  you gotta admit X's lyrics are better than nelly's. and of course everyone wants succes so i gues he had to do something to get there. and this guy has never bragged about his car ,money, ice like nelly, CMR, jigga, does. this guy is always wearin a dog chain and some pants. so i wouldnt put him on that level but not on Snoop's level either.

i think hes ok but better than a lot of other shit out there. and you cant just say hes the only one who bites pac and you dont like him for that cause  everyone wants to be like him or bites him or uses him for succes , nas, jigga, lil zane,Ja Rule, No limit, tha realest, DR and a lot more people have i just cant remember. and ya know  everyone bites him.

and X has a lot of real songs which a lot of other rappers dont.and X talks about a lot of real shit.and hes signed to a reall succesfull label so ya know they want their artist succesfull so their gonna market it. so many rappers out there today are so fake and putting him on the same level just isnt right but thats just your(anyone) opinion. if ya just feel him then i gues you dont. i cant do anything about it. but if you dont like him cause of his info and biting pac thats bullshit cause you cant say " i dont like x cause hes just like pac and has a bald head and runs around without a shirt like him". DMX is nothing compared to pac.

some of you just dont like him cause of his mtv commercial succes but yall should listen to his music deeper. as i said before if ya don feel him then ohwell thats your opinion. and this is just mine. he might not be the best rapper out there but i wouldnt say he sucks.

U can't love DMX, u gotta FEEL him and personally I FEEL X. Yeah, he reminds all of us of the late great 2Pac but that's about it (unlike ja rule who actually bites Pac). DMX is on my all time Top 20 greatest MCs list (#15 or so) coz he actually SAYS something, and he's got charisma, wit and energy to back it up. Lyrically, X cannot be really compared to anyone. I feel like his first record was one of the most influential ever in Rap coz it switched the game back to the rough shit (fuck Puff and Mase). And, no matter what y'all say, I actually feel his second joint too. Now the 3rd one was average but certainly not a worse album than Doggfather or the whole of Last Meal for that matter (let's be honest and forget the clasic joints on it). If DMX was a West Coast artist, y'all would be PRAISING him. Plus DRE said on Rap City (with no hesitation) that the only rapper he really feels besides his crew is DMX so I have the greatest producer ever to back up my point. Now, X ain't Nas or Scarface or Black Thought or Ras Kass or Slim or Talib Kweli lyrically but believe me, all those cats RESPECT him coz he can still RHYME and is unique. Pac wasn't as lyrically "twisted" as Biggie but in my opinion, he's the greatest coz of his versatility and his subject matter. In other words, other stuff has to be taken into account when judging an MC. Whoever said that X never talks about money, cars, bitches,platinum and icey rollies got it right: DMX is just spittin' and fuckin with ur mind. Yeah, I wish he had DOPER producers (how about the DOC??) but well... Finally, even DE LA SOUL showed DMX love on BET; now, if u know De La, u know they ain't praising too many multiplatinum-mainstream-east-coast-mtv-friendly rappers. That should tell you: DMX's the truth. I'm gettin' "The Great Depression" Sept 25th, no doubt about it...

I mean i liked DMX and shit before i heard that he was dissin 2Pac and shit and i dont like people Dissin 2pac so i dont realy like him anymore but i dont know if it was like a rumour or sumthin cause i never found out until like a friend told me so i dont know....
