why do u guyz complain about X's lyrical ability but then turn around and praise Warren G? Snoop? Bone Thugs [not Bizzy]? they all are pretty much the same lyrically but Warren is str8 weak on the mic...

and what does he rapping about dogs all the time??
that make me feel like he is jacking snoop's and tha dpg's style...
and then he calls himself X, just like xzibit, thats just make it more weird...

and then we got that with 2pac...

i dont know much about him, but the music is aight..regular eastcoast main stream...

DMX is alright, he isn't a great lyricist but he's got alot of energy...His stage presence is great, he get's the crowd hype better than any MC out there...He sells more records than any rapper other than Eminem so he has a pretty large fan base...I don't own any of his albums though, but I heard his first two...First one was dope, second one was garbage to me...

his first album was good but the others were lackin the fresh feel of the first, it wasnt new anymore, I like him as an actor though, some may disagree but he was good in exit wounds, over all i wouldnt mind hangin out with him or watchin his latest movie but as a rapper he just suz now i guess

I'm not really feelin him anymore. I loved his first album back in 98. I can still bump it alittle today. But after that he fell off badly. I can't believe I bought his second and third albums. I was convinced by the people who work at circuit city.

DMX's first was CLASSIC IMO especially when it came out when Puff was on top and then switched the focus from dancin and prancin back to the streets...i don't think it sounds dated...the production is still the same today as before...still in reg rotation...

He just got a good voice.  People like dat deep voice shit.  like Ja rule/Dmx type voice but too bad they ain't got the rhymes to back it up.   Dmx is o.k.!! Ja Rule Garbage.... never bought any of their shit and i don't think i ever will..

DMX is terrible.  Def Jam promotes him well but his records are sorry.  I don't feel what he has to say, and his flow is wack.

i don't think he's bitin pac at all.  pac wasn't a dog.  x thinks he's a pitbull in a man's body.  he growls and barks all throughout his albums and talks about his relationships with his four legged companions... shit he dedicated his entire back to his first dog.  it's not really a gimmick either... das just him... u may not like it... it may be annoying to some, but there's a place for it in hip hop

i like X but maybe peeps think he's bitin Pac's image and the sentimental thug shit...
