Well of course the greatest of all time is the one and only 2pac shakur, but i have alot of respect for the game and the revival he's done for the west. new westcoast stand up!!

eiht and snoop ain't hard, they laid back. gangsta though, but laid back. WC is a hard artist or Ice Cube. MC Ren, Suga Free, Jayo Felony, Mystikal and Messy Marv also come to my mind.
