Yeah I love this track, it's bangin'. I'm surprised so many people dislike it.

it's average imo, nothing special...

Average at best, i never liked Cube/Snoop collabos man, they suffer from bad beats somehow, while on they own they pick way better beats...
What about Go to Church? They both killed the beat.

Pretty good track in my opinion, but when you hear "Snoop Cube and Battlecat" together, it seemed like it should have been an instant classic, when that clearly isn't the case with this track.  This is a good solid track, but it's not even trying to be a classic.

Yeah ok i forgot about that track, you're right. Imo Cube & Tha Dogg Pound (or Kurupt or Daz solo) make a way better combo though, like that song on So So Gangsta.

Cube's Freestyle-Verse was classic:

"Woke up chillin' in the LBC
I grew up in the HNC
But that ain't what I turned out to be
Understand me that I'm still a G
who ain't never spent a day in the penitentiary"

I definitely feel what some of y'all are sayin....it definitely was not a "bad" track, and I rarely skip past it...but for it to be Snoop and Cube, then Battlecat, then for it to be on an album that had more than a few bangers...many of us just expected more. Like Fatdodger said....we were expectin some "Eastsidaz" or WC styled Battlecat with a wild ass, gang bang walkin bassline and uptempo feel to it...but the beat sounded more like somethin you'd use for a skit or as a filler song. Even the 5th and 6th best Battlecat beats on Eastsidaz and WC's Shadiest One were better than this one. Cube and Snoop sound decent on it, and have a few hot lines...but neither of em ripped it like that.

Both of them got off on Go to church...but the beat was an overtypical Lil Jon beat, which was good for what it was, but being that it was that style of beat, we couldn't see it as a West Coast heater like that...especially because it would get played during a crunk segment at the club versus a west coast segment.

And y'all are right....Only in California is by far their best collabo.
