Real Madrid sack Capello
« on: June 28, 2007, 08:01:12 AM »
so stupid

Real Madrid have, as expected, sacked coach Fabio Capello.

The Spanish giants have decided to dispense with the services of Capello just 11 days after he guided them to the Primera Liga title.

Capello's future at Real has been the subject of conjecture for some time with his style of management not winning favour with the club's fans and board.

Real's sporting director Predrag Mijatovic confirmed the club's board decided to axe Capello after lengthy discussions about the future at El Santiago Bernabeu.

"We have taken the decision not to continue with Fabio Capello next season," said Mijatovic.

"It was a difficult decision, but it was a unanimous decision based on an exhaustive report I made to the board.

"We don't think Fabio Capello is the right person to lead Real Madrid into the future given what we want this club to achieve.

"Now we have time to think over who will be the next coach of the club.

"I haven't managed to talk it over with him personally because he is on holiday at the moment, but I did manage to speak to his son who is also his lawyer."

The move clears the way for Getafe manager Bernd Schuster to succeed Capello in the Spanish capital.

Way to go for WCC's "best coach in the world"
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

Jose is a true Gangster. Nobody can deny this. He would never allow people to shit on him like that. Look at the teams Capello won titles with. Real, Milan, Juve... lol, great!

You obviously don't know what you're talking about here, homie.

He won with AC Milan after Sacchi left the team and they lost all the best players. They were rebuilding, they were a 10th place type of team at that moment. He took the team and from the first year (first year as a coach!) he won everything. He made a record for most wins in a season and less goals allowed (this one is still a record). Plus he reached 3 Champions League finals. It wasn't easy at all, man. He took Milan in his worst period of the last 20 years. And he won 4 straight titles. It's NEVER easy, man. Then he went to Real. That Real Madrid was obviously not the best team in the Liga. He wasn't the "galacticos" team, but it was before that. Like Milan, Real didn't have a title won from years. He won it in the first (and only) year. Then he went to AS Roma. And he won a title there. Just to let you know, AS Roma has only won 3 titles in his history. So it wasn't easy AT ALL. Before Capello, Roma was a mid-level team. Capello won a title and he lost another title in the last 90 minutes of the season. More than a miracle. Then he went to Juventus. Ok, a glorious team and all, but he took a team who was desperate, with Lippi leaving, and with the team who was predicted to arrive 4th-5th. He won two consecutive titles being 1st from the first day of the first season to the last day of the last season. Juventus was not being second in the table for 2 years. Plus he beated the record of points ever made by an italian team in the Serie A. Cannavaro was an ex-player when he moved from Inter to Juventus. He worked on him so well that we won the World Cup (you know it) and the FIFA Player of the year. He acquired Ibrahimovic from Ajax and he made him what he is today. He acquired Emerson and he made him the best player in the Serie A till Juventus traded him to Real. He did an impressive thing with Juventus, man. Then he moved to Real Madrid. Real wasn't the best team in Spain, and everybody knows it. It was a team who had to be kicked in the ass, with all them supposed-to-be-stars who didn't have the right attitude to win. He won a title doing a masterpiece.

Man, don't understimate him. He won EVERYWHERE, ALWAYS.

Only Marcello Lippi has arguably a better curriculum than him in the world, imho.
