Reggae Meets The West Bay

Over the last couple of years, the Bay Area has been known for doing new things musically. They've even spawned a new sub genre in the process. With Hyphy being the new sound of the bay, it seems that most artists in the area are buying in and doing their part to contribute; bringing more attention to the region.

With eyes and ears on the Bay Area, Fredrock and The Trench Town Husltaz are bringing something else new and fresh to the Bay Area, West Bay to be exact. They've conceived an idea to bring in something old and make it new and fresh again. They've recorded an entire album with a reggae twist. This isn't the type of music you'd expect to come out of the region, but they pulled it off. They've managed to keep the same vibe that the music intended, while rapping and singing over the instrumentals. Reggae Meets the West Bay will be dropping in August. yeah i love this,i love when artist try something different and the Trench Town Hustlaz put it off like a magician doing his best trick, perfectly! it's not something we are use to listen but it's fresh!.If you like Bay Aera rap and reagge you should def check this out!

feel bad for bob marley? y'all some stupid muthafucaz!! he'd be proud of what's happenin.. other genres and groups of people taking this much interest of an art-form that he blew up.. we fucks wit sister sally, bob marley's old back up singer, she loves what we doing and wants to hop on the project.. every reggae DJ around here is giving us nothing but props, the reggae community in the bay is fuckin wit us tough.. quit hatin and start appreciating the music.. there's only a couple bob marely related beats on the project anyway.. truth of the matter is 90% of you know reggae as "bob marley" and maybe couple of the sons.. don't have no clue how deep this shit goes.. retarted comments is expected.
