while daz keeps it g funk(which isnt a bad thing) soopa always experiments and bring a fresh dpg sound, definitly underratedtht bang out beat with kurupt , daz and snoop from this year is bangin
I heard alot of the Daz beats back in the day were actually Soopa beats that he sold to him, I know he coproduced some with Daz

I heard Soopafly used to play the piano in the church when he was younger. Then he was the keyboardist on alot of the early Death Row hits. Alot of producers start off doing keys first then get into full fledged production. Scott Storch was the same way.

I've always enjoyed Soopa more on the mic than I have behind the boards, funnily enough. I wouldn't neccessarily name him one of my top West Coast producers, but I certainly think he's underrated as a rapper.

Daz stole the masters from the DR studio when he left and put it out.

Daz stole the masters from the DR studio when he left and put it out.he pulled that with D&YG too, I know "Dip Wit Me", "We Living Gangsta Like" "Don't Stop" were DR tracks that they did for their next album on Death Row but I guess Death Row had the masters and released them on 2002 but Daz tweaked them a little with Mike Dean and put them on D&YG and The Last Of Tha Pound
