Yeah..thats pretty weird, his never claimed Blood before-As Far As I'm Aware, i don't even think I've seen him ever rep a set, except his New Orleans home Town.
Though i have seen him with  a few times sportin a red Rag(even though that would not normal mean anythin or show affiliation to the Blood Gang)
