I'm not saying it's bad for WC to have Ice Cube help him get that exposure, but to have him so obviously involved with the album gives a hint of weakness, as if WC can't do it on his own. Surely, Cube knows ways to help WC get his name out there, but his involvement in selling the album is too obvious to go unnoticed. Cube probably did some great stuff to improve the quality of the album, but at the end of the day it's WC's album, not some collaboration project!

WC has been doing this for damn near 20 years. He's more than talented enough to do it on his own. Seeing Cube all over the cover gives off the wrong idea.

Learn something about marketing bro.  This is a smart move, period, end of story.  This shows nothing about weakness.  Ice Cube is a brand name, he is huge, wayyyyyyyy more people recognize him than WC.  People gonna see that poster, see Cube, and they may be cube fan's but not really know about WC, but they gonna check it out because of Cube.  What the hell is wrong with Cube's obvious involvement to get this record to sell?  Isn't that the point of the record...make it sell?  If it wasn't, than I am sure there would be no poster at all and WC would be giving these cd's out for free.

Now, what part of that do you actually disagree with? I said WC is only right for getting Cube involved in the project. Thing is, it's his album, not a collaboration project. Instead of turning it into "this is a WC record, and this time he had to get Ice Cube involved to achieve something," they could have made it a "oh my god, there's WC back to working with Ice Cube again! this has got to be hot."  They could make it sell (it's quality material, right?) without having to display such pathetic dependancy and weakness... Perhaps you should learn something about marketing bro.
